How a Fundraising Coach Helps Nonprofit Leaders Do It All

North Tahoe Family Resource Center’s executive director, Amy Kelley, wears many hats—including leading fundraising—which made developing and executing a consistent strategy difficult as a one-person team. Juggling urgent day-to-day tasks left little time for proofreading, strategy, or follow-through, limiting the organization’s fundraising effectiveness.

After adopting Network for Good’s fundraising software and a Personal Fundraising Coach, Amy got regular accountability and hands-on help from coach Ayda: refining donor-centric year-end appeal language, proofreading materials, and creating pledge cards for a fundraising event. Those changes generated about a dozen meaningful pledges, and recurring coaching meetings helped Amy prioritize tasks and turn fundraising plans into achievable results.
