A Bonterra Network for Good Case Study
Alison Cook Beatty Dance Company is a small nonprofit dance troupe that had just received 501(c)(3) status but was still managing operations with Excel and Google Docs. That setup left them struggling with bookkeeping, donor stewardship, and sustaining their dancers, so they needed a more professional fundraising and donor-relations system to build credibility and stability.
They joined Network for Good in April 2018 and, with a Personal Fundraising Coach, ran a five-week integrated campaign—appeal letters, multiple emails, social posts, and a targeted push at a hometown performance featuring a curtain speech. The campaign exceeded its $10K goal, raising $13K, and the organization gained greater efficiency (no more late-night data entry), stronger donor relationships, and renewed confidence to plan future campaigns while focusing on their artistic mission.
