A Bonterra Network for Good Case Study
The Shalom Project, which runs a medical clinic, food pantry, clothing closet, and other anti-poverty programs in Winston-Salem, needed to rework its annual Big Chill fundraiser when the pandemic made large gatherings difficult. As a long-time user of Bonterra Network for Good’s Donor Engagement Guided Fundraising, the organization needed a flexible way to keep its summer event fundraising strong in a new hybrid format.
Bonterra Network for Good helped The Shalom Project transform the event with customizable peer-to-peer pages, automated thank-yous, and other Guided Fundraising tools. The result was a record-breaking campaign that raised more than $50,000, surpassing the previous year’s total and leaving the organization with more money in hand thanks to lower event costs.
