Case Study: RISE for Youth achieves 3x its fundraising goal with Bonterra Network for Good

RISE for Youth raised three times their goal by creating a virtual march

RISE for Youth, a nonpartisan campaign working to end the youth prison model in Virginia, needed to move its annual Justice Parade for Youth fundraiser online when the pandemic blocked large in-person gatherings. The organization wanted to preserve the energy of its peer-to-peer march and continue raising support for its Youth Development Academy. Bonterra Network for Good’s Guided Fundraising solution helped make that possible.

Bonterra Network for Good enabled RISE for Youth to quickly create peer-to-peer pages, email templates, and a participant video campaign that energized donors and spread the message widely. The virtual march drew participants from across the country and raised $56,333, which fully funded nine of 15 Youth Leader internships and reached three times the organization’s goal.
