Family Service of Roanoke Valley, a longtime nonprofit mental health provider in Southwestern Virginia, faced growing community needs tied to substance abuse, violence, and emotional well-being. To expand donor outreach and support more residents, it turned to Bonterra Network for Good, using Bonterra Fundraising Essentials to strengthen its fundraising efforts during a difficult pandemic period.

With Bonterra Network for Good, FSRV launched campaigns like “Connect at the Table,” raising $3,160 in five days to fund counseling sessions, and also used the platform to send personalized thank-you videos to donors. The organization also reported $40,000 in ticket revenue and 3,000 donors with an average gift of $586, helping it continue serving more than 2,000 people annually while maintaining strong client outcomes, including 100% of surveyed clients saying they felt good about their progress.
