The Nonprofit Council of Texas, a membership organization of executive directors, nonprofit professionals and community partners, needed to restore donor and nonprofit confidence after a major technology crash in 2016 and replace a plain, static platform that was not user‑friendly or customizable. For #BigGive2017 they partnered with Bonterra GiveGab, using GiveGab’s Giving Day platform to deliver a secure, modern, and more dynamic fundraising experience.

Bonterra GiveGab provided a dedicated project manager, intuitive donor-facing technology, editable nonprofit pages and champion (peer-to-peer) pages, plus strong customer service, enabling nonprofits to create far more engaging pages. The results: nearly $4.68 million raised ($4,679,704.04), 31,456 online donors, and 648 participating organizations—The Nonprofit Council’s largest Giving Day to date—and restored community confidence, prompting them to use Bonterra GiveGab again.
