Launch NY Achieved Increased Visibility and Fundraising Success on GiveGab

Launch NY, a nonprofit focused on driving job and wealth creation across Western New York, faced limited resources, low donor counts, and insufficient public awareness when it needed to promote and fund its new Launch NY Seed Fund. To remedy this, Launch NY turned to Bonterra GiveGab and its GiveGab crowdfunding and online fundraising platform for the first time to expand visibility and solicit individual donations.

Bonterra GiveGab implemented a GiveGab crowdfunding campaign (including personal campaigns, offline-donation tracking, and an ongoing donation page) and helped Launch NY leverage #GivingTuesday and coordinated offline efforts. As a result, Launch NY raised $128,710 from 119 donors (129% of goal), went from 0 individual donors to over 100, and achieved significantly greater awareness and sustainable fundraising capacity thanks to Bonterra GiveGab.
