Franziska Racker Centers, a nonprofit serving people with disabilities across Tioga, Cortland, and Tompkins counties, faced the challenge of running a large, first-time online player-pledge drive—the Racker Rivals Big Red campaign—aiming for a $30,000 goal while attracting new and younger donors and coordinating many player pledge captains. They turned to the Bonterra GiveGab platform to build and manage the campaign site and donor pages.

Working closely with Bonterra GiveGab (and staff support from Alyssa), Franziska Racker Centers designed a user-friendly campaign site, trained pledge captains, and executed a three-month outreach timeline. The result: they surpassed last year’s fundraising, reached 70% of their $30,000 goal with a week to go, and secured 117 new and 11 repeat donors, while reporting smoother operations and stronger donor engagement.
