Family Biz Builder, led by Executive Director Peggie Henderson in Tunica, MS, is a nonprofit that advances economic empowerment through sports and fitness programming. Having never done online fundraising before, they were introduced to Bonterra GiveGab and used the platform to begin building an online fundraising program.

Using the Bonterra GiveGab platform, Family Biz Builder ran three campaigns that raised over $2,400 total — including $1,545 from 15 donors during Mississippi Day of Giving 2015 and more than $1,300 from 19 donors in their first Biz Builder Sports campaign. Success was driven by recruiting peer-to-peer fundraising champions, a three-month campaign plan, and active donor engagement, demonstrating measurable growth in new donors and online giving thanks to Bonterra GiveGab.
