Dutchess Outreach, a Poughkeepsie, NY nonprofit that provides hunger relief and community support, faced the challenge of expanding fundraising beyond traditional channels—having never done online fundraising before. Using Bonterra GiveGab’s easy-to-use platform to set visible goals, engage supporters, and manage donations, Dutchess Outreach exceeded expectations: they achieved 127% of their #NYGivesDay 2016 goal, raising over $5,000 from 40 donors, and have raised $7,871 from 60 supporters overall—showing a clear, measurable fundraising impact.
