A Bonterra CyberGrants Case Study
Wells Fargo needed a reliable way to track Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) service credits for its local-community support and microgrant programs. To solve this, Wells Fargo implemented Bonterra CyberGrants' CyberGrants software to automatically capture and report CRA-qualified service activity.
Bonterra CyberGrants’ platform enabled Wells Fargo to manage and document its community giving—supporting $300 million in 2017, primarily through microgrants—and standardize CRA credit tracking. Across CyberGrants’ banking clients in the past 12 months, the platform supported $1,041,114,677 in grants, $90,348,981 in employee giving and 3,975,058 volunteer hours, and aligns with broader social-investment impacts such as increased sales (20%), higher productivity (13%), lower turnover (50%) and potential share-price gains (up to 6%).
