A Bonterra CyberGrants Case Study

Preview of the Bank of Oklahoma Financial Case Study

How BOK Financial invests in innovative community engagement

Bank of Oklahoma Financial (BOK Financial), a top-25 U.S. bank, needed to scale and better measure its community engagement programs—employee giving, volunteerism, financial education, and grants—across multiple markets while improving reporting and disbursements. To address this, they partnered with Bonterra CyberGrants and deployed the CyberGrants Employee Engagement dashboard (“myCommunity”), Insights analytics, and Bonterra’s Disbursements Solution.

Bonterra CyberGrants centralized program management and impact measurement, enabling BOK Financial to track 34,000+ volunteer hours, support 685 nonprofits, have 358 employees serve on boards, and coordinate $6.1M in corporate and foundation contributions. Insights reduced reporting rework, revealed that the first two days of campaigns drive the most giving, and was rolled out to nine markets—helping the bank align communications, streamline disbursements, and scale community impact with measurable results.
