A Bonterra CyberGrants Case Study
Bank of America, a leading retail bank that contributed more than $200 million in 2017 through its foundation and employee giving program, faced the challenge of monitoring philanthropy efforts and capturing qualified CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) service credit. To meet this need it deployed CyberGrants software from Bonterra CyberGrants to automatically track CSR programs and service credits.
Bonterra CyberGrants implemented its CyberGrants CSR platform to centralize tracking of grants, employee giving and volunteer hours so Bank of America could efficiently document and capture CRA service credit; the platform is used by nine of the top ten North American retail banks. Across CyberGrants banking clients in the past 12 months, users recorded $1,041,114,677 in grants, $90,348,981 in employee giving and 3,975,058 volunteer hours, demonstrating measurable impact from Bonterra CyberGrants' solution.
