Anonymous Retailer engaged Bonterra CyberGrants to run a one‑day MLK Day of Giving matching campaign to engage associates and customers and manage complex donation and matching rules. The retailer needed a platform to accept online donations, apply 3‑to‑1 matches for associates and 2‑to‑1 matches for community members (up to $2M with a $5,000 individual cap), and channel proceeds in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Using Bonterra CyberGrants' corporate giving platform, the retailer hosted the online campaign, enforced matching ratios and limits, and routed gifts to a dedicated Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) of America fund while tracking participation. The effort raised more than $6.5 million, demonstrating strong associate and customer engagement and delivering a measurable philanthropic impact.
