A Bonterra Apricot Case Study
Wyman Center, a St. Louis nonprofit with more than a century of experience, delivers evidence-based youth programs—Teen Leadership Program (TLP) and Teen Outreach Program (TOP®)—locally and through a National Network of replication partners. As TOP® scaled, leadership needed a comprehensive way to measure long-term impact, ensure model fidelity across sites, and manage case-level data to support replication and continuous improvement.
In 2013 Wyman implemented Efforts to Outcomes (ETO®) software to centralize attendance, assessments, contacts and fidelity data, enabling real-time trend analysis and timely program adjustments while supporting national partners and program adaptations. The move helped systematize replication and impact reporting for a program that now reaches thousands—TOP® serves 18,000 teens through 57 partners—and is linked to strong outcomes (e.g., 52% lower suspension risk, 60% lower course-failure and dropout risk, 53% lower pregnancy risk) and an estimated $1.29 return per $1 invested.
