A Bonterra Apricot Case Study
Catholic Charities of Central Maryland, a Baltimore-based human and social service provider, serves thousands in some of the city’s most troubled neighborhoods but struggled to demonstrate whether services—like meals, shelter, and job help—actually improved long-term self-sufficiency. Relying on service volume and basic employment tracking left gaps in understanding outcomes across housing, education, health, and finance, limiting program improvement and competitiveness for funding.
By implementing Social Solutions’ ETO software, Catholic Charities began tracking five key self-sufficiency indicators with standardized assessments, efforts, and outcomes, enabling real-time progress monitoring and data-driven program adjustments. The result: clearer evidence of impact, faster program tuning, expanded reach and funding, and more than $1M in additional grants secured by demonstrating measurable results.
