A Bonterra Apricot Case Study
Bosco Homes is a leading nonprofit human service organization in Alberta that operates 13 in-house programs and one external foster care program serving people with mental health issues, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders and other hard-to-place youth. Faced with paper-based records, slow cross-site information flow and limited ability to measure outcomes or link staff time to client progress, the organization needed a way to track clients, staff and program performance quickly and reliably to make timely decisions about placements and interventions.
By implementing Social Solutions’ ETO software, Bosco Homes centralized client and staff data, enabled cross-site access and automatic alerts, and linked time-on-service with outcome measures so teams can spot what’s working within 30–90 days. The result: incident inquiries that once required a 90-minute round trip and extended paper searches now take 5–10 minutes, managers can respond to client needs in near real time, and staff use data-driven insight to improve placements, goals and overall program efficiency.
