Streamlined processes for faster work with Bonita

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX), Cairo’s securities exchange, needed to streamline a complex, multi-team enrollment process for firms using the FIX protocol. Five teams (Technical Support, Operations, Network, Security and IT) had to coordinate timed activations and deactivations, manually inspect databases, and maintain documentation—so EGX sought a BPM solution and selected Bonitasoft’s Bonita BPM suite to document and automate the workflow.

Bonitasoft implemented Bonita to model the end-to-end FIX enrollment, provide an interactive portal for all stakeholders, and connect to EGX’s databases to run daily activation/deactivation checks automatically. The solution eliminated manual DB inspections, automated removal of expired test access, saved EGX valuable resources, and enabled EGX to automate three additional processes (checklist, monitoring, and stock index updates), transforming how the exchange manages member onboarding.
