Optimizing membership management with Bonita

CFDT, the largest French union with 800,000 members and roughly 60,000 status changes each year, faced a complex, partly paper-based information system that made real-time tracking of member mobility and accurate, centralized membership views difficult. To modernize its processes and put the individual at the center of service, CFDT selected Bonitasoft’s business process management solution, building an online membership management application on the Bonita platform.

Bonitasoft implemented a simplified online registration flow and a real back-office on Bonita that automatically routes and transfers members between unions, notifies regional and professional bodies, and provides indicators and management tools at every level. As a result CFDT gained real-time visibility of membership by geography and sector, eliminated the need for members to terminate and re-register when changing region or occupation, and improved monitoring of member mobility—supporting thousands of current users and scalable onboarding of tens of thousands more.
