Modernisation of a Public administration to Increase Citizen Satisfaction based on Bonita Platform

Canton de Vaud, a Swiss canton of 750,000 inhabitants with an independent administration of 30,000 employees, sought to standardize and synchronize process modeling and management across departments using a single BPM solution to improve usability for end users and increase citizen satisfaction. After a public tender, they chose Bonitasoft’s Bonita BPM platform to modernize and harmonize their processes.

Using Bonitasoft’s Bonita BPM (implemented with integrator AiM Services), the canton automated pilot workflows in the tax administration — consolidating and distributing paperless tax documents — and industrialized business processes across departments. The Bonitasoft implementation simplified and streamlined repetitive tasks, improved information sharing, increased productivity and quality, reduced operating costs through paperless processes, lightened workloads and made the administration more agile in responding to legal changes.
