Ametera iGenio, an SME from Italy that produces the patented i‑Genio universal vacuum cleaner dust bags, needed to make its marketing and sales-document processes compliant with the Euritmo Web‑EDI standard so it could sell through major distributors without costly order errors or returns. To automate early validation of incoming sales orders and enforce contract checks, Ametera engaged Bonitasoft, using the Open Source Bonita BPMS (implemented with consulting partner Profesia) to model and monitor procurement, sales and stock workflows.
Using Bonitasoft’s Bonita platform, Profesia implemented process-driven services for formal data validation, contract compliance checking and translation of fiscal documents into Euritmo messages, plus connector-based integrations with existing systems. The solution delivered measurable impact: Ametera achieved Euritmo compliance at low cost, cut order errors and sped up sales‑order handling, gained real‑time visibility into order status, avoided hiring a dedicated IT team thanks to negligible maintenance, and became one of the smallest suppliers accepted by large distributors—strengthening its competitive position.
