Lombard Odier, an independently owned private wealth management group founded in 1796 and overseeing CHF 287bn in client assets, faced the need to digitize routine banking processes and implement robust customer onboarding (know-your-client) across a global platform. Working with Bonitasoft and its Bonita platform, the bank’s challenge was to move to a paperless process, manage a mix of human and automated tasks, enable strong collaboration among multiple actors, and integrate quickly with its existing CRM.

Bonitasoft implemented the customer onboarding workflow on the Bonita platform, combining automated steps with human approvals and connecting to Lombard Odier’s CRM for fast deployment. The solution delivered a paperless, collaborative onboarding process, reduced manual handoffs and improved overall process efficiency, and positioned Lombard Odier to automate additional processes such as change-of-circumstance, periodic reviews and MiFID II compliance.
