Premiere Digital Services (PDS) is a cloud-based global media services and software partner that runs the Premiere Digital Exchange (PDX) platform for content owners, distributors and retailers. Faced with the need to ingest and catalogue incoming files from about 800 content providers, manage metadata in 40–45 languages, and guarantee on-time, retailer-specific deliveries, PDS selected Bonitasoft and its Bonita engine to orchestrate complex workflows that combine automation with human review and decision points.

Bonitasoft implemented Bonita to orchestrate PDX’s microservices, automate validation and delivery checks, call in humans when required, and expose APIs for partner integrations. The solution now processes about 3 million files (25 TB) per day, runs 1,500–2,000 cases daily, enables roughly 15,000 unique feature/episode deliveries per month, and—after Version 2.0—supported a customer launch of 50 shows in 45 languages across 107 territories with over 6,000 media assets delivered, while allowing PDX microservices to scale independently.
