Heerbod Corporation worked with Bonitasoft to help a sovereign nation’s coast guard document and standardize the detailed knowledge behind buoy operations. The agency needed to manage a complex, multi-step process for deploying coastal buoys while connecting multiple systems and making key operational information easier to access.

Bonitasoft implemented Bonita to map and automate the end-to-end process, integrating the MAXIMO asset management system, the SIPA buoy information system, and the Marinfo mariners’ information system. The result was better visibility into each buoy’s commissioning status, improved inventory management, faster problem identification, and better-informed materiel decisions that are expected to reduce costs and improve forecasting for future seasons.
