CIPAV has transformed its processes without the need to first rebuild its existing information systems

La CIPAV, which manages basic and complementary pension benefits for 550,000 members, faced an aging information system and a patchwork of legacy applications while needing better member interaction, faster deployment of business processes, and more versatile task management. To modernize its GEIDE (document/disaster management) and implement an archive workflow integrated with desktop publishing, La CIPAV selected Bonitasoft’s Bonita BPM, though integrating that BPM platform with existing systems required significant cross-team coordination.

Bonitasoft implemented incremental BPM-based workflows (with integrator RS2i) to modernize processes and archive creation, avoiding a costly “big bang” replacement and redeploying redesigned task distribution in just 2–3 months from definition to deployment. As a result of Bonitasoft’s solution, La CIPAV now runs seamless digital, multichannel processes and has measurable improvements: faster responses for professional clients, better measurement of processing times, maintained activity history, easier reassignment during absences, and streamlined task distribution.
