Case Study: IIC Technologies improves hydrographic notices production with Bonitasoft

Bonita helps safer sailing in national waters with up-to-date information in Notices to Mariners

IIC Technologies worked with Bonitasoft to help a national Hydrographic Office modernize its Notices to Mariners production process. The organization had been relying on a manual, Excel-based desktop publishing workflow with many operational challenges, making it difficult to produce accurate, timely, and easy-to-follow maritime safety information.

Bonitasoft implemented a Workflow Management System on the Bonita platform, integrated with a Geospatial Publications Module, to automate data harvesting and standardize the notice production cycle. The result was faster processing and publishing, improved efficiency and traceability, greater consistency and reliability, and better resource planning through real-time status visibility. IIC Technologies also won the 2018 WfMC Award for Excellence in Business Transformation for the project.
