Automated tracking of formal disputes based on Bonita

Tribunal de lo Contencioso Administrativo Federal is the autonomous Mexico City court that handles over 12,000 disputes a year involving nearly 500 employees. Facing a largely paper-based lawsuit lifecycle that caused data loss, delayed proceedings and response times outside legal limits, the tribunal needed to upgrade its tools while preserving existing data integration; after an initial SAP CRM proved insufficient, it turned to Bonitasoft and its Bonita BPM platform.

Bonitasoft implemented a BPM-based Trials Digital System built on Bonita to automate, standardize and centralize the court’s administrative and judicial processes. The solution delivered online monitoring and real-time case status, centralized templates and legal catalogs, a searchable repository of sentences and documentation, improved statistical reporting and management indexes, and a reduction in operational court costs—streamlining the handling of the tribunal’s more than 12,000 annual disputes.
