Assuring certification and data security for a user base of more than 20,000 employees, researchers, staff and others

McGill University Health Centre is a large bilingual academic health network serving Montreal and Quebec, with a collaborative ecosystem of more than 20,000 employees, researchers, staff and volunteers. Facing the need to assure certification and data security across that population with a very small team—while supporting cloud apps, AI, big data and complex integrations with public institutions—MUHC turned to Bonitasoft and its Bonita platform to deliver an agile, flexible solution for information security and identity management.

Bonitasoft implemented a series of automated security and certification processes, dashboards for KPIs and audit management, and integrated those workflows with numerous third‑party systems. The Bonita platform enabled a proof‑of‑concept to be developed in 4 weeks (vs. a typical 3 months), the first full process to be deployed in about 6 months, and simplified ongoing modifications by the small team—delivering measurable time and cost savings while securing and certifying MUHC’s 20,000+ users.
