Hunter Douglas, the world’s leading manufacturer of window coverings and architectural products, faced complex, highly decentralized workflows and numerous third‑party integrations across its manufacturing and IT environments. Wanting a true workflow process tool rather than an application with embedded workflow, they engaged Bonitasoft (using Bonita/BPMN graphical modeling) to simplify communication with the business and propagate automated processes across the enterprise.

Bonitasoft implemented Bonita to model and automate more than 30 processes over about four years and has automated more than 33 workflow processes overall, including an incident recovery process that enables automatic, anticipatory recovery of applications and databases. The Bonitasoft solution reduced manual interventions, decreased escalations and alerts, eliminated many midnight emergency calls through self‑healing capabilities, and measurably increased IT team productivity.
