Southwest Airlines Takes Fundraising to New Heights with Bonfyre

Southwest Airlines wanted a better way to connect attendees at its 31st annual LUV Classic Charity Golf Tournament, where 130+ aviation professionals were spread across a large golf course and had limited chances to interact face-to-face. The company also wanted to keep spirits high and support fundraising for The Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Southwest partnered with Bonfyre to create a shared digital space with photo, chat, content distribution, and agenda tools that helped golfers stay connected and engaged throughout the three-day event. Bonfyre helped drive 57% participation, 137 attendees joined the app, users opened it 3,900 times, and attendees shared more than 500 pieces of content, including 443 likes in the chat feed.
