Marriott used Bonfyre as the official event platform for its bi-yearly General Managers Conference, which brings together more than 3,000 hotel managers across six hotel brands. The company wanted to increase guest engagement, improve the overall event experience, support attendee-sponsor engagement, and maintain ongoing communication between corporate leadership and general managers.
Bonfyre helped Marriott build a digital communication ecosystem for each of its six hotel brands, with branded communities, personalized schedules, speaker information, interactive maps, surveys, announcement tools, live polling, and gamification. Marriott also used a QR-code scavenger hunt to drive sponsor booth traffic. Across the six communities during and 30 days after the conference, 70% of invited attendees visited the community, 40% engaged, there were 200,000 community opens, 41,000+ sponsor booth visits, and 8,000+ chats, photos, and videos shared.
