Cloudera, a provider of a modern platform for machine learning and analytics optimized for the cloud, needed a smarter way to prioritize 2,500 target accounts for an account-based marketing (ABM) program. With a limited paid media budget, Cloudera turned to Bombora and its intent data to identify which accounts were most likely to be in market and which topics would resonate most with them.
Bombora, working with Just Media, helped combine Cloudera’s account list with Bombora’s intent dataset to rank accounts by interest and segment out the 700 that were in market, enabling more targeted messaging and media spend. The campaign delivered strong engagement across channels, with direct marketing proving most effective; 66% of targeted accounts showed increased monthly on-site engagement, 74% of those visitors viewed more than 16 pages, and more than 30 significant business deals were attributed to the campaign.
