A BOLTGROUP Case Study

Preview of the Phillips-Van Heusen (pvh) Case Study

Phillips-Van Heusen grows revenue to $1.91 billion with BOLTGROUP

Phillips-Van Heusen (PVH), a major apparel company, faced a challenge with its portfolio of brands, including Van Heusen, IZOD, Geoffrey Beene, and G.H. Bass. Each brand had drifted from its core identity, leading to inconsistent consumer experiences and underperforming retail environments. PVH needed to build internal brand and marketing capabilities and engaged BOLTGROUP as its Agency of Record to provide strategic brand services.

BOLTGROUP implemented a comprehensive solution, repositioning each brand and building the strategic infrastructure and marketing systems for PVH to eventually own. This work coincided with a significant period of growth for PVH, with total revenue increasing from $1.35 billion to $1.91 billion. Key results included the IZOD brand being acquired for $220 million and G.H. Bass being sold for $49.2 million, with PVH successfully building the internal capabilities to sustain the brands long-term.
