Eurogroup for Animals amplifies End the Cage Age with Bold Studio across 100+ organizations

Eurogroup for Animals, an animal protection lobby group, faced the challenge of maintaining momentum for its "End the Cage Age" petition and pressuring the European Commission to act. They commissioned Bold Studio to produce an animated film that would educate the public on the grim realities of caged farming without causing them to disengage, a common issue with graphic real footage.

Bold Studio created a series of hand-drawn, character-driven animations that contrasted the animals' natural behaviors with the horror of their caged lives. This approach successfully engaged viewer empathy and was distributed by Eurogroup for Animals' network of over 100 member organizations across Europe in multiple languages. The films gained significant recognition, being officially selected for the Big Syn Film Awards, and helped apply continued pressure for a future vote on the issue.
