1st Financial Federal Credit Union, led by CEO Carol Minges, needed a paperless solution to make board meetings more efficient and to preserve meeting notes and archives instead of shredding paper packets. After evaluating options, the credit union chose BoardPaq — using its iPad app and web-based Admin Center — for security, voting, document library, archiving and ease of use.

BoardPaq was rolled out in phases: the credit union purchased and secured iPads, set acceptable-use policies, Carol and the board chair configured users and agendas, then trained members until the board went fully paperless. Since adopting BoardPaq in May 2014 the credit union reports reduced paper and staff costs, improved information security, members receiving materials a week earlier, more productive meetings, and simplified minute creation.
