Taylors Wines is a three‑generation, family‑owned winery in the Clare Valley, South Australia. The business relied on just three limited reports—one daily sales report, a monthly P&L and a static PDF for sales teams—that only finance could interrogate, were hard to view on mobile devices, and left the company unable to be truly data‑driven for sales growth, stock planning, rebate validation and measuring the impact of awards.

In 2013 Taylors deployed BOARD on top of its data warehouse and other sources, initially improving existing reports and then expanding capabilities. Over five years reporting grew from three to over 100 dashboards, enabling self‑service analytics, redesigned KPIs for area managers, weekly forecasting tied to production planning, easy rebate checks and measurable insights (including a 15–20% sales uplift for bottles with multiple medals), delivering efficiency gains, cost savings and freeing finance to focus on higher‑value work.
