Case Study: PAC 2000A achieves Integrated Business Planning and sales-to-finance convergence with Board

A Board Case Study

Preview of the PAC 2000A Case Study

PAC 2000A uses Board to ensure perfect convergence between its sales logic, management control, finance, and logistics processes

PAC 2000A is the largest cooperative in Italy’s CONAD network, with about 1,050 partners, roughly 1,500 stores and 20,000 employees, serving central and southern Italy. Faced with rapidly growing data volumes and fragmented subsystems, the cooperative needed a single technological and methodological approach to unify sales, management control, finance and logistics and to enable faster, more reliable decision-making across a distributed retail network.

PAC 2000A chose the Board platform with implementation support from K.Group, evolving from reporting to a full Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Enterprise Performance Management approach. By consolidating data into a Single Point of Truth and rolling out hundreds of projects across sales, logistics and finance, the solution delivered convergence between sales logic and accounting (including full control of bonuses/contributions), item-level logistics visibility, and consistent performance dashboards used by stores and central teams. The initiative also created a knowledge-driven rollout model—EPM meetings and a small internal Center of Excellence—that spread best practices and accelerated adoption across the group.
