Modine CIS accelerates BOARD use by continually re-engineering its BI applications

Modine is a global thermal management company (founded 1916, ~$1.9bn revenue) with 21 production plants and operations in more than 80 countries; after acquiring Luvata HTS it faced rapid expansion and the challenge of integrating diverse sites and multiple upstream systems into a single, secure reporting environment while reducing spreadsheet-driven processes and shortening BI lead times.

Modine has used BOARD since 2000 and completed a major re‑engineering and migration to BOARD v9 (2014–2016), supported by internal BI resources and partner Mosaic. Today BOARD serves 200+ users across finance and operations, ties 35+ databases and 15+ source systems into 1,300+ reports with mostly daily updates (≈2,000 hours/month), delivering standardized, timely data, faster processes, improved interactivity, and stronger budgeting/forecasting and decision support.
