KPMG Finance adopts BOARD for integrated reporting, analysis, planning, budgeting and forecasting

KPMG Netherlands, part of the global KPMG network, needed to make its Finance function more agile in the face of increasing internationalization, regulation and disruptive technology. The department required an easy-to-use enterprise performance management solution that would integrate financial and non‑financial data, support reporting, analysis, planning, budgeting and forecasting, and allow business users to drill down to transactional ERP data without heavy IT involvement.

KPMG selected BOARD’s all‑in‑one BI and EPM platform; a rapid proof‑of‑concept validated key requirements and the first implementation phase—focused on financial reporting—was delivered in seven weeks. The rollout gave users fast, flexible reporting and GL drill‑downs, streamlined month‑end processes and enabled dynamic, insight‑driven meetings; next steps include adding non‑financial data and extending budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
