kohlpharma, a family-run pharmaceutical importer in Germany, needed a faster and more reliable way to give its sales teams up-to-date sales and market data. Its existing planning, reporting, and analysis tools required manual updates and made it hard to combine multiple internal and external data sources, limiting efficient planning and customer visits. Board was selected as the vendor and Intelligent Planning Platform to address these challenges.
Board connected kohlpharma’s merchandise management, data warehouse, CRM, and external market data sources into one automated system, with mobile iPad applications for field sales. The results included daily updated analyses, easier self-service application development, and much faster preparation for customer visits; kohlpharma reported saving about 20% of daily prep time and rolling out the first applications within four months.
