Case Study: Slowear achieves streamlined retail planning and reduced end-of-season stock with Board

A Board Case Study

Preview of the Slowear Case Study

Intelligent Retail Planning at Slowear Managing the entire pre-season and in-season process, from strategic direction to daily store replenishment, in one solution

Slowear is a family-owned Italian menswear group (Incotex, Zanone, Glanshirt, Montedoro) with 29 stores in major global capitals that needed to connect strategic, merchandise, financial and operational planning with daily in-store replenishment. The challenge was to replace fragmented processes with a single, scalable approach to plan seasons, assortments and stock flow while improving forecast accuracy, reducing end-of-season inventory and giving teams clearer, actionable visibility.

Working with PwC, Slowear rolled out the Board decision-making platform to cover Strategic Planning, Merchandise & Assortment Planning, Seasonal Budgeting, Buying, Retail Planning and In‑Season Management. The unified, data-driven solution supports store-level range plans, daily SKU-level replenishment based on Target Stock Levels, and collaborative workflows across functions and regions. Results include more efficient seasonal orders, lower end-of-season stock, improved merchandise visibility and control, and faster, coordinated decision-making across the organization.
