Ferrer Internacional is a Barcelona‑headquartered, privately held pharmaceutical group operating across R&D, manufacturing and distribution in more than 115 countries. The company relied on fragmented Excel-based processes from multiple business units and systems (SAP, BW and local files), which made consolidation slow, error-prone and resource intensive. Ferrer needed a single, consistent data baseline and a standardized end‑to‑end planning process to improve forecast accuracy, reduce manual work and support fact‑based decision‑making.

Ferrer implemented the Board platform to deliver integrated strategic and operational planning (financial budgeting, demand, HR, marketing, production volumes) plus automatic monthly rolling forecasts and P&L consolidation. Standardized templates and a shared interactive environment created a Single Point of Truth, improving data quality, speeding complex calculations, reducing IT dependence for controllers and freeing teams to focus on analysis and decisions. The project delivered faster, more consistent planning and is being expanded across additional strategic areas.
