A Board Case Study
Euronics Deutschland, a large electronics cooperative with 1,498 stores and 1,361 member retailers, faced fragmented legacy systems that slowed multi‑year planning, forecasting and reporting and created heavy manual work for managerial accounting. System discontinuities and limited self‑service access made routine queries and analysis time‑consuming across the network.
Euronics implemented the Board decision‑making platform to unify planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting with integrated data management and an intuitive self‑service front end. The change sped up data processing, simulations and scenario management, eliminated interface breaks, enabled employees to run their own queries, and significantly reduced the workload of the managerial accounting team while boosting overall planning and reporting efficiency.
