End-to-end planning and scenario management in the Bauli Group

Bauli Group, a historic Italian bakery founded in 1922 and a global leader in baked confectionery, needed to modernize sales planning and analytics to support growth across very different business models — seasonal celebration products (e.g., Pandoro) and everyday lines (croissants, biscuits, crackers). The challenge was to unify planning across finance, the sales network and supply chain while handling different time horizons, campaign-driven sales patterns and the need for detailed, customer‑product level reporting.

Bauli extended its existing Board decision‑making platform into a single end‑to‑end planning, budgeting, forecasting and scenario‑management environment. The solution integrates volume and pricing planning, commercial conditions and supply‑chain inputs, producing drill‑down P&Ls by campaign, product and account and enabling multiple budget versions and monthly forecasts. The result is a standardized information flow, tighter alignment between corporate control, sales and operations, faster scenario analysis and improved spending control and decision making.
