L&Q is a leading UK housing association managing about 95,000 homes and working with 90 local authorities. Facing slow, error-prone reporting that relied on hundreds of spreadsheets and took around a week and a half to produce monthly KPI packs, L&Q needed a way to consolidate financial and operational data from 20 operating entities and multiple joint ventures, improve governance, and enable real-time, self-service analysis.

L&Q implemented Board following a rapid proof of concept and MS Office integration, rolling the solution out in months and training teams across the business. Today 140 power users (and 600+ Lite+ users) can refresh Executive and Operational report packs in PowerPoint with one click, consolidate financials, run 30-year cashflow and maintenance forecasts, and build interactive dashboards—reducing IT dependence, speeding decision-making, and improving performance management across maintenance, complaints, anti-social behaviour and development programmes.
