BOARD enables cross-dimensional data analysis and reporting

Robinson Club GmbH, a Hanover-based member of the TUI Group and Germany’s market leader in premium club vacations (23 club facilities and one townhouse, 12,600 bed capacity), needed to modernize planning and reporting as part of a wider IT and hotel software upgrade. The company sought a platform that could deliver flexible, multidimensional OLAP analysis and standard reporting while reducing heavy manual data collation and better supporting planning processes.

Working with BOARD and SDG consulting, Robinson implemented a central MS SQL Server data warehouse fed nightly via SSIS and a multidimensional BOARD model for analysis and planning. The solution enables fast drill-down reporting on bednights, room utilization, booking status, channels and guest demographics, automates report distribution, eliminates manual pre-processing and significantly improves transparency and resource efficiency for reporting and planning.
