American Refining Group (ARG) is a Pennsylvania-based refiner (11,000 barrels/day) producing waxes, lubricant base oils, gasoline, fuels and other specialty products. ARG faced weak, time-consuming ERP reporting—finance struggled to combine and analyze data from sales, operations and finance, quickly slice-and-dice information, and create KPIs and dashboards because extracting data from the ERP was slow and cumbersome.
