Amadori is a leading Italian agri-food company specializing in poultry, with over €1.2 billion in revenue, ~7,400 employees and an integrated production and distribution network across Italy. The commercial and marketing teams needed an integrated solution for demand planning, promotion management, commercial budgeting and forecasting to replace a vertical, opaque application that limited user intervention and collaborative planning between sales, marketing and field teams.

Amadori implemented BOARD to manage sales & demand planning, commercial budgeting and 13-week rolling forecasts for ~1,500 products, using historical data from an Oracle warehouse and separating baseline and promotional sales. BOARD lets users insert and compare promotions, make manual adjustments, and use “split & splat” distribution to simulate impacts down to customer-week-item level; this improved promotion planning (especially for large retail), sped up the annual budgeting cycle, increased user adoption, and delivered more flexible, high-performance analysis from aggregate to item-level detail.
