Alerion Clean Power is Italy’s leading independent producer of renewable energy, listed on the Milan stock exchange, with 19 active installations (262 MW) and rapid international expansion. As the group grew to around 40 legally autonomous companies, disparate systems (Navision for some subsidiaries, Excel for foreign affiliates and Sage for consolidation) and different charts of accounts made cross‑company economic and financial analysis, consolidation and management of CAPEX/OPEX and net financial position (NFP) increasingly complex.

Alerion implemented BOARD as a single Business Intelligence environment to standardize and integrate data from Navision, Sage, Excel and other sources, with a three‑level chart of accounts, multidimensional reporting, budgeting/forecasting and drill‑down analysis. BOARD was extended from financial control to operational plant analytics (production, availability, energy flows, weekly/monthly reports and EBIT by plant), delivering a unified group view across 40 companies, faster, simpler analysis, better NFP and cost control, and greater autonomy for business users.
