A BoardDocs Case Study
Hesston USD 460, a public K–12 district in Hesston, KS serving about 830 students, faced the challenge of moving board governance from pencil-and-paper packets to a more efficient, transparent system as technology use expanded in classrooms and assessments. To lead that transition and reduce the time and cost of meeting preparation, the district adopted BoardDocs’ agenda and meeting management service.
BoardDocs was implemented district-wide starting in 2007, providing an intuitive, supported platform (including MetaSearch and 24x7 customer service) that replaced paper packets and streamlined workflows. The result: more than 50% time savings, nearly 5,000 pieces of paper avoided each year (cutting printing, reproduction and delivery costs and mileage), instant access to nine years of meeting records, and improved transparency and efficiency for Hesston USD 460.
